TAXIDERMY

PURCHASES

Making your purchase could not be easier. Orders may be placed via e-mail, post or telephone. When ordering by post we would strongly recommend you contact us to confirm availability before forwarding payment.
All telephone orders must be confirmed via e-mail or post at your earliest convenience.
We will always acknowledge your order via the e-mail address supplied.

AVAILABILITY

Please contact us to confirm the availability of any item on our website to avoid disappointment. Whilst we make every effort to update the website on a regular basis, occasionally an item may be sold or become out of stock prior to your enquiry. We are more than happy to reserve any item for you and await your prompt payment.

PAYMENT

Payments may be made by cash, cheque, and postal order or via Paypal. Customers using paypal can therefore pay by credit/debit card.
Please note: Payments by Paypal attract a surcharge of 4% to cover associated fees incurred for this service.

Cash Payments:
            We can only accept cash in UK sterling. We can accept Euros or US dollars at an agreed prevailing rate, but only by prior agreement.
For your protection, we strongly recommend cash payments are sent by registered post.

Payment by Cheque:
            We can only accept cheques drawn on a UK bank account. Please allow 5-7 working days to clear.

All payments must be cleared & the funds available before items are dispatched.

MONTHLY PAYMENT PLAN

To assist customers who wish to purchase items costing over £250, we are pleased to offer a monthly payment plan. Customers wishing to take advantage of this option may spread the cost over five equal monthly payments. Once payment is made the balance owing will be confirmed by e-mail on a monthly basis upon receipt.
We DO NOT charge interest, surcharges or any other fees for this service. We cannot however, extend payment terms or alter the payment plan and all monies are non- refundable.


TAXIDERMY- COLLECTION/DELIVERY/POST

Due to the fragile nature we always prefer cases of taxidermy to be collected in person where possible. We can also deliver by prior agreement.
Any item may be collected from our showroom in Essex by prior arrangement.
We post worldwide (legalities permitting) and whilst every precaution is taken to protect all items i.e. bubble wrap, polystyrene chips etc, we cannot accept any responsibility for items damaged in transit.

FOR SALE - Guest listings.
We welcome the inclusion of guest listings to this website.
Please read carefully the following conditions before submitting any item for inclusion. It is deemed you have read, understood and agreed to our terms and conditions upon forwarding your instruction.
These terms and conditions help us provide a credible, hassle free and enjoyable experience for both the buyer and seller when using this website.

Guest listing conditions

  • All guest items submitted for sale on this website are subject to the fee’s currently in force and must accompany any Inclusion request.
  • It is the sellers responsibility to submit a least one quality digital image, accurate, honest and descriptive text along with copies of any relevant licences required by law.(if required)

Remember:  No licence – No listing!!

  • You must include your contact details (for our use only)
  • We reserve the right to refuse, remove or amend any item or description deemed as inaccurate, dishonest or unlawful, without prejudice.
  • It is the seller’s responsibility to notify us immediately when an item is sold, this avoids unnecessary disappointment for others.
  • LISTING FEE’S ARE CURRENTLY ONLY £10 PER ITEM. CONTACT US FOR MULTI ITEM/REGULAR SELLER & BHTS MEMBERS DISCOUNTS.
  • All listing fee’s are non-refundable

Our commitment to you:
We will endeavour to list your item within 7 days
We will forward details of all enquires to you within 24 hours. It is then up to you how you proceed with the sale.
Your item will remain listed until sold or we are informed otherwise. We do however require confirmation from you that the item remains for sale on a 60 day basis should it still do so after this time. This avoids any disappointment to potential customers should a sale oversight occur.

WANTED ADVERTISMENTS
We welcome the inclusion of WANTED advertisements to our website. This service is offered free of charge to our customers and current members of The British Historical Taxidermy Society.

All adverts are included for a period of six months, after which time the ad will cease unless we are instructed for a further period.
We will endeavour to place all advertisements within 7 days and forward details within 48 hrs.

BOOKS

UK.
Due to the varying sizes and weights of many of our books we believe it unfair to quote a fixed post & packing rate that covers every title.  To keep it simple and straightforward we charge POST & PACKING AT COST which we are always happy to quote for. We believe this is the fairest way, particularly for multi purchases. We do however endeavour to include known p&p costs with each title.
To help ensure a safe and speedy delivery all our books are sent recorded post and will therefore need to be “signed for “at the destination. For added security we obtain proof of posting and insurance comes as standard.  This also helps safeguard against delivery problems particularly, as some of the scarcer titles cannot be immediately replaced.
Books can be collected should you so wish.


EUROPE.

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden.

Post & packing costs will depend on the size and weight of the book(s) ordered.
We are happy to quote p&p costs for any European destination upon request.
We endeavour to included cost where known with each title.

REST OF WORLD.
Inc..... USA, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Middle East, Far East, South America etc
We are happy to quote p&p to any worldwide destination on request. Books are sent via carrier such as DHL or Fed Ex to ensure a safe speedy delivery.

We ship worldwide.

POSTCARDS

UK Customers:
All postcard prices exclude P&P which is currently 90p per order (up to 6cards). Cards are sent 1st class post. For more expensive cards we recommend Recorded Delivery at an additional 80p.

Overseas Customers:
Europe: - All prices exclude P&P which is currently £2.00 for up to 6 cards.
Rest of World: - All prices exclude P&P which is currently £3.30 for up to 6 cards.

We do of course, combine postage on all multi purchases.
